  Went to 1 location 2 weeks ago and waited 40 minutes for fried ckn dinners. Service was painfully inadequate. Tried twice to get a fresh baked potato but came out old and cold both times. When we finally got the con it was delicious!!! Complained to corporate office and received certificate to try again for free. Went to other nearby location and ordered same thing. While the service was much improved and we got our meal quickly...the chicken was old and soggy and again couldn't get a hot and fresh baked potato. Have no confidence in recommending Cracker Barrel for a good dining experience.

  I've always loved Cracker Barrel but the last time I was there we had a wonderful waiter who made us laugh and got us everything we needed! I wish that I had the opportunity to get a waiter/waitress as personable as he was each time I go in! I will definitely be going back in hopes of seeing him move up the ranks!

  Was told 25 min wait. Waited 55 min to sit down. Ordered breakfast and waited about 30 min to get the food. Not sure how someone screws up pancakes and eggs, but had at least one egg shell in my scrambled eggs and the pancakes weren't even done. Spent the rest of evening hanging out in the bathroom. Won't be visiting here for a while.

  Host did not listen to our request to NOT be seated all at one table (17 of us) but to sit at diff tables in general area. They were not busy and had six or seven tables to accommodate our request in two areas. When we insisted again they not put us all together due to our being in a hurry for an additional 3 hour drive home late in the evening they were frustrated. They did give us three individual servers but they let our food set so long that it was actually cold when they did finally get around to serving it. They did not refill our drinks, they were arrogant and only one server was pleasant and efficient. I wish I would have gotten his name because he was an excellent server. When we were leaving after paying, the manager arrogantly and sarcastically said he was sorry the food was cold and he would have made it right but he made sure he waited until after we already paid and laughed. I did not expect a free meal nor did I want one but I did want an apology for the way we were treated. Will never stop there again and will think twice before stopping at another Cracker Barrel.

  Every. time. I order food from here, I wait longer than the estimated time for it to come out. I have to ask them to call back for it again and no one seems to care about my lengthy wait for an order that I either called in or placed online. This was my first visit this year. I guess I'll give them another 6 months before I try again 😔
